Elevate Your Fitness: Stair Workout Edition

One of my favorite things about working out is that it doesn’t cost a dime. You can do it absolutely anywhere and time is the only investment. My personal “hidden gym” is the outdoor staircase at Taylor Road Middle School. The 66 stairs lead to the middle school football field and when I time my workouts right, I get a personal concert from the dedicated marching band students. It’s fabulous, therapeutic, and the best part- it’s an efficient workout. In less than 20 minutes, my legs feel like jello, my shirt is drenched and I feel like I’ve run ten miles. It’s a win-win. You may not have the Taylor Road stairs, but if you have any stairs in your neighborhood or local parks, give one of the workouts below a try. I promise you, you’ll be happy you did!
